Quakers & Climate Change Worldwide: a New Resource

The Quaker United Nations Office (QUNO) has created a new website, Quakers and Climate Change Worldwide, a ‘resource portal’ where Friends can learn about what other Friends around the world are doing – in their spiritual lives, their communities, national campaigns and international efforts — to address climate change. The site has five categories of resources: General Resources, International Political Engagement, National Political Engagement, Photos from Faith Communities Worldwide, and Spiritual, Lifestyle and Community. The site will be linked to the websites of Quakers In the World (QITW, under sustainability), and Friends World Committee for Consultation (FWCC).

Lindsey Cook, QUNO Representative for Climate Change, invites Friends everywhere to send in news to share. He writes:

“If you wish to share a climate change/sustainability related publication, poster, news of an event or photo of Quaker action, please send this to us and we will post it onto the portal.”
