A workshop on the theme of Quaker Gifts, Light, & Perspectives for the Climate Crisis will be offered at the St. Petersburg Meetinghouse on November 9th. Quaker Earthcare Witness (QEW) presenters Mary Jo Klingel (Charlotte (NC) Friends Meeting), Clerk of QEW, and Beverly Ward (Tampa MM), SEYM Field Secretary for Earthcare and member of QEW Steering Committee, will lead this interactive workshop that includes elements of the Alternatives to Violence Project, psychodrama, sociocracy, and magic!
Then, on Sunday, November 10th, at 12:30 pm, the theatrical troupe “Bohn Jeverly” will perform a play from the 2019 Climate Change Theatre Action, followed by open discussion, reflections, follow-up questions, and concerns.
Saturday, November 9th • 9:30 am – 4:00 pm. There will be a 9:00 AM ‘check-in.’ Lunch will be provided.
Sunday, November 10th • 12:30 – 2:00 pm. All are invited to worship with St. Petersburg Friends at 10:30 am, which is followed by fellowship and refreshments.
