Youth & Families Retreat • July 24-26

Registration is open

The planning committee for the July 24-26 Youth & Families Retreat is still gathering information and hoping that it will be possible to hold a retreat in person at Gold Head Branch State Park, with a remote attendance option. To that end, we are opening registration! You can register to attend the retreat in person, remotely, or express an intention to attend and make a decision about how closer to the date. You can also give us feedback about the retreat planning in the survey, if you don’t want or aren’t ready to register.

Young Adult Dinner & Discussion • June 18th

Join other young adults (18-35ish) from across the SEYM region for dinner and discussion on Thursday, June 18. We’ll start with dinner fellowship at 6 pm, then share and discuss some TED talks at 7 pm. RSVP and submit any videos you’d be interested in discussing together to:

Online First Day School • June 21st

Since many monthly meetings in SEYM are not currently able to offer religious education programs for youth, we are experimenting with offering an online First Day School session this month.

Families with kids birth through middle school are invited to join us at 2pm on Sunday, June 21st for a discussion of violence, nonviolence, and protest, followed by unprogrammed worship at 3pm.

A session for teens on the same topic will follow at 4pm.

To join us, RSVP to yyacoordinator@seymquakers.org

Quaker Youth Game Night • June 26th

On Friday, June 26th at 7pm, SEYM youth are invited to an online game night, featuring Pictionary, Scattergories, and (by popular demand), “Quaker Mafia,” as developed by our youth at the SEYM Gathering. For a link to join us,
