Update! Youth & Families Retreat Online Jul. 31-Aug. 2

Due to pandemic-related safety concerns and resulting logistical challenges, the SEYM Youth Committee has decided to cancel the in-person portion of this summer’s Youth and Families Retreat, which had been scheduled for July 24-26.

An online Youth & Family Retreat will be held the following weekend, July 31-Aug 2. Remote retreat participants will receive a care package of supplies in the mail and an activity schedule, including activities for families to do on their own, things to do as a community via video chat, and digital space to share photos, reflections, jokes, memes, and other updates to connect us over the weekend.

The remote retreat will be offered on a sliding scale from $5-50, to cover the cost of purchasing and mailing supplies, and is open to all SEYM families that include at least one youth (birth-18).

Many thanks to our dedicated, creative, awesome retreat planning committee for their months of work on this event. Many of their great ideas will be featured in the remote retreat, and others may be used at future SEYM events.
