‘Our Quaker Voice’ Workshop, Feb. 13th

The SEYM Peace & Social Concerns Committee invites all Friends to join us online at 10 am Saturday, February 13th, for Our Quaker Voice, a ‘hands-on’ workshop on strengthening our advocacy skills and successfully sharing our witness through creating and publishing letters to the editor.

This workshop answers a need expressed by Friends across our yearly meeting for an opportunity to strengthen and make more visible our Quaker voice.

Our time together will offer:

•   Skill building – using the tried and true FCNL model and resources for engaging with the media.

•   Friends sharing experiences of success, failure and persistence in seeking publication.

•   Consideration of the role and responsibility entailed when lifting our Quaker voice in witness.
