SUMMARY:Growing Faith in Spirit Led Action
DESCRIPTION:Tim Gee heads the World Office of Friends World Committee for Consultation (FWCC) in London. He serves on oversight committees for both the Geneva and the New York Quaker United Nations Offices (QUNO)\, representing Quakers in gatherings of international faith communities. Tim also collaborates with the four FWCC sections: The Section of the Americas\, the Europe and Middle East Section\, the Africa Section and the Asia West Pacific Section. \nIn the past\, Tim has worked for Friends of the Earth\, Christian Aid\, Quaker Peace & Social Witness\, and Amnesty International. He is a prolific writer of books and articles published in The Guardian\, New Internationalist and the Independent. For a collection of his writings\, go to The Australian Friend: Tim Gee\, Author. He found an earnest and amicable Friend that was already knowledgeable of the depth and breadth of diverse Quaker histories\, and who was willing to listen\, in the Spirit\, to Quakers from different world geographic and cultural regions. \nThis virtual encounter is designed to give Tim an opportunity to share part of his Spiritual Journey followed by a brief question and answer period. \n
