DESCRIPTION:Who is the training for? Friends who wish to help create a safe and caring community for children are welcome to attend. Monthly Meetings are encouraged to use this training for their own youth workers\, and to consider taking the training as a group. And if you wish to work with youth at SEYM events\, this training is one requirement for becoming an SEYM registered Youth Worker under the Child Abuse Prevention Program (CAPP). \nCAPP Coordinator Cheryl Demers-Holton is offering these Child Abuse protection trainings online to individuals or groups October and November: \n\nWednesday August 27th at 6:30 pm\nSaturday August 30th at 9:00 am\nWednesday September 10th at 6:30 pm\nSaturday September 13th at 9:00 am\n\nCan’t make it on any of these days? No problem! Just let Cheryl know and she can set up another time that works best for you or your group.
