    Half Yearly Meeting is a family-friendly serendipitous 4 days over Thanksgiving weekend when Friends come together for good food and good company in Wekiwa Springs State Park. We have exclusive use of the Youth Camp, a natural setting with rustic cabins. Enjoy swimming in the springs, canoeing and kayaking, workshops, crafts, and games.

While the culture we live in promotes “sticking to our guns” when it comes to politics, justice issues, and even interpersonal dynamics and conflict, our faith calls us to be in community in order to ground into deeper discernment.

SEYM Friends aged 0-35ish and their parents/grandparents/guardians are invited to a family and young adult ‘beach day’ retreat on August 2, 8am – 5pm at Mary McLeod Bethune Park, 6656 Atlantic Ave., New Smyrna Beach. There’s lots to do! In addition to the beach, the park has a kayak launch, playground, picnic pavilion, and more.

  • Child Safety Trainings

    The SEYM Child Safety Training teaches basic best practices in caring for different youth age groups. It is designed to give Friends the tools they need to create a positive program environment, prevent and recognize bullying and other inappropriate behavior, and deal with conduct problems. The training lasts about one hour.
