A Call for Attention to the Fires of Our Faith
Some say these are the end times for the Religious Society of Friends; others see a wealth of germinal openings in the challenges among and around us. Meanwhile, the world’s urgent needs require a steadfast spiritual foundation for our response. What kindling and cordwood are available for us today as we tend the fires of our faith?
Ann Jerome is a member of Orlando Monthly Meeting. She worshiped with DeLand Worship Group until relocating in September 2023 to Pendle Hill in Wallingford, Pennsylvania to serve as a Friend in Residence there. She has served Southeastern Yearly Meeting as a youth program leader, organizer of the workshops program for the annual gathering, Clerk of Executive Committee and Interim Business Meeting, and currently as a member of the Worship and Ministry Committee.
Registration
All are welcome! This year the Winter Executive Committee meeting and Interim Business meeting as well as the Michener Lecture will be held in person and via Zoom.
Registration is required, whether you are attending in person or online. Orlando Friends need to know how many people will attend; and to receive the Zoom invitation SEYM needs your email address.
We do appreciate any and all contributions to help cover costs. Suggested donation for those who can donate is $30.00 for in-person lunch, lecture & seminar, and $15.00 for online attendance.
