St. Augustine Quakers are co-hosting a public screening of "Dare Not Walk Alone," a film about the months of protests in St. Augustine leading up to the passage of the Civil Rights Act. This is the first event in a series. Please join them in person!
The SEYM Child Safety Training gives Friends the tools to create safe and welcoming spaces for children and youth — in our Monthly Meetings, Worship Groups, and Yearly Meetings. The training lasts about 1.5 hours, and covers best practices in caring for different youth age groups, and how to prevent, recognize, and report child abuse.
Join us online for a workshop with Emily Provance, who will lead us in using stories from the books of Acts as a jumping-off point to discuss listening in tongues, nominations, hospitality and food, welcoming newcomers, spiritual transformation, belonging, prayer, faith, corporate discernment, calls to ministry, pastoral care, and adapting to societal change.

The Executive Committee (EC) makes sure that business items are ready to be brought to Yearly Business Meeting, and discerns on various issues that arise. The EC is made up primarily of SEYM officers, clerks and committee clerks, but we also welcome the participation of any SEYM Friends.

SEYM Field Secretary for Earthcare Beverly Ward invites Friends to gather online for our second forum aimed at developing suggestions for empowering Meetings, Worship Groups, and other communities to respond to needs that arise from extreme events such as climate change effects, hurricanes, rising temperatures, or economic hardships.
The SEYM Worship and Ministry committee invites you to join us online for the Seeker’s Book Club, which will resume June 6th and meet the first and third Thursday of each month at 7pm via zoom.
The waves of our spiritual journeys come in all sizes, from the gentle lapping of a lake to breaking ocean surf. Each wave invites us into new revelation, deeper listening, seeing with new eyes, walking with faith despite the pulls of the surrounding culture. In these three online sessions, we will invite Friends into spacious times of exploration, sharing, and deepening our Quaker faith.
